The 9th Annual Jeeps For Joy Toy Drive is approaching fast!
The 2009 Toy Drive is scheduled for Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 10:00am-1:30pm in the Pike Creek Shopping Center parking lot.
We invite everyone to donate new, unwrapped toys to benefit Nemours/AI duPont Hospital for Children and Children's Choice Foster Care Agency. Additionally, all Jeep owners are invited to join in a caravan following the event to deliver our donations to the hospital!
Can't make the event? That's okay! We've distributed donation boxes throughout the state at various businesses and daycare centers. Check back for a listing of drop-off locations.
No drop-off locations near you? Follow the link on our page to make a tax-deductible donation via PayPal. Any funds collected are used to purchase additional toys and gifts specified in the childrens' wish lists provided to us from Children's Choice.
Last year's 2008 Toy Drive was a great success, help us to make 2009 even bigger!
In 2008 our event collected over 1880 donations that were once again shared between the A.I. duPont Hospital for Children, and Children's Choice Foster Care Agency. We were once again honored to be able to help all of these children and their families have a happier Holiday Season.
We spent the majority of our donated funds on selected gifts for the children at Children’s Choice based on their wish lists, and two of our organizers were invited to a dinner with Children's Choice where they distributed the donations to the foster children and their families. Seeing first-hand the difference we make with these children is always a great experience.
